• The difference between mixing and diverting valves

• How to calculate the required Cv rating for a valve

• What the different valve flow characteristics mean

• How to identify valves by type (i.e. ball valve, globe valve etc.)

• How the Belimo pressure independent valve (PICCV & ePIV) works

• How the Belimo Energy Valve works including data collection and analysis

Students will be able to properly install and start up Daikin 2 Wire SkyAir Key systems using preferred servicing equipment and procedures.

Objectives:

• Learner will be able to describe how to properly install the Daikin SkyAir refrigerant piping.

• Learner will be able to accurately describe the Daikin SkyAir components’ technology and benefits.

• Learner will be able to correctly install and start up a SkyAir system according to manufacturer’s requirements. Learner will be able to successfully demonstrate the set up and operation of Daikin’s SkyAir Remote Controllers.
